CERTIFICATION DISCLAIMER
This is an industry-oriented skill certification issued by a private company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. It does not qualify as a government-issued certificate, licence, or academic degree.
This Certification Disclaimer explains, in plain terms, what an UpSkill Global Certificate is and is not. It is provided for the information of learners, Institutional Partners, employers, and any other person who encounters an UpSkill Global Certificate or its verification record. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Website Terms of Use — in particular Sections 3, 7.3, 7.4, and 13.4 — and our Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Disclaimer and the Website Terms of Use, the Website Terms of Use shall govern.
1. Who Issues UpSkill Global Certificates
- Every Certificate made available through the Platform is issued solely by UpSkill Global Education Technologies Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada (Ontario Corporation Number 1001630517). This is true regardless of the country in which the underlying course was delivered, which Institutional Partner a learner enrolled through, or which Independent Commercial Distribution Partner processed the enrolment and payment.
- No Institutional Partner, Independent Commercial Distribution Partner, or other third party has authority to issue its own certificate purporting to be, or to carry the authority of, an UpSkill Global Certificate. Certificates bear the UGET prefix and a permanent, unique certificate identification number assigned solely by UpSkill Global.
- UpSkill Global, its logos, the UpSkill Global certificate format and layout, its certificate numbering system, its QR verification system, and associated branding are proprietary intellectual property of UpSkill Global Education Technologies Inc., protected under Section 9 (Intellectual Property) of our Website Terms of Use. Unauthorised reproduction, imitation, or misuse of any of the foregoing — including the creation of counterfeit or look-alike certificates — may result in legal action.
2. What an UpSkill Global Certificate Is
- An UpSkill Global Certificate is a private, industry oriented skill certification. It confirms that the named individual has successfully completed a specific course and passed the applicable assessment administered through the Platform's Learning Management System, as at the date of issuance stated on the Certificate.
- Certificates are digitally verifiable. Each Certificate bears a unique certificate identification number and a QR code that allow any person, anywhere in the world, to confirm in real time, free of charge that a specific Certificate is genuine, through the Certificate Verification system at www.upskillglobaledutech.ca/verify-certificate.
- A Certificate may be suspended, revoked, or declared invalid where UpSkill Global reasonably determines that it was obtained through fraud, identity misrepresentation, academic dishonesty, or other material breach of the Website Terms of Use, as further described in Sections 7.2 and 7.3 of that document. A revoked or suspended Certificate will show as such on the Certificate Verification system.
- No person may alter, edit, crop, remove, obscure, or otherwise modify any UpSkill Global Certificate or its verification details. A Certificate that has been altered in any way should be treated as unverified and invalid unless its contents are confirmed to match the record shown on the official Certificate Verification system.
3. What an UpSkill Global Certificate Is Not
- It is not a government issued qualification, licence, permit, or authorisation of any kind, in any jurisdiction.
- It is not an academic degree, diploma, or other credential issued or recognised by a university, college, or other statutory academic body.
- It is not an “accredited” or “formally accredited” credential. UpSkill Global is not accredited by, and does not represent that it is accredited by, any government ministry, department of education, or statutory accreditation body in Canada, India, or any other country — including, in India, bodies such as NAAC, AICTE, or UGC, which have no role in, and have not evaluated, UpSkill Global's courses or Certificates.
- It does not, by itself, confer any professional licence, statutory registration, or right to practise any regulated profession or trade.
- It does not guarantee, promise, or imply any employment outcome, salary outcome, visa eligibility, or immigration benefit of any kind.
4. The Role of Institutional Partners and Independent Commercial Distribution Partners
- UpSkill Global's programmes are made available in many countries through Institutional Partners — colleges, universities, schools, and training academies and through Independent Commercial Distribution Partners, such as our Independent Commercial Distribution Partner for India, UpSkill Education Technologies Private Limited. These are independent, separately owned and operated businesses that provide local enrolment, delivery, and support under a written agreement with UpSkill Global. They are not agents, subsidiaries, branches, or legal representatives of UpSkill Global, and they do not issue, co issue, or accredit UpSkill Global Certificates.
- The only designation an approved Institutional Partner is authorised to use is “Authorised Training Center” or “Authorised Partner” of UpSkill Global Education Technologies Inc. An Institutional Partner is expressly prohibited from describing itself, its programmes, or its relationship with UpSkill Global as “accredited” or using any equivalent term implying formal institutional accreditation, unless UpSkill Global has separately and expressly granted that status in writing. If you see the word “accredited” used by any partner in connection with UpSkill Global, that use has not been authorised by UpSkill Global and should be reported to us using the contact details in Section 7 below.
5. Recognition and Value of a Certificate
- UpSkill Global makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any Certificate will be recognised, accepted, or given any particular weight by any employer, educational institution, professional body, immigration authority, or government agency, in any country. The recognition and value of a Certificate is determined entirely at the discretion of the third party to whom it is presented, and may vary over time and between jurisdictions.
- Any decision to enrol in a course or to rely on an UpSkill Global Certificate for a particular purpose including employment, further study, immigration, or professional advancement is made on this express basis, and learners are encouraged to independently confirm how a prospective employer, institution, or authority will treat the Certificate before enrolling.
6. Verifying a Certificate
- To verify whether a Certificate is genuine and currently valid, visit www.upskillglobaledutech.ca/verify-certificate and enter the certificate identification number, or scan the QR code printed on the Certificate.
- Successful verification confirms only that the Certificate was issued by UpSkill Global and its current status within the verification system namely the matters described in our Privacy Policy (the certificate holder's name, the course or programme completed, the issuing entity, the date of issuance, and the current validity status). It does not verify the holder's current skills, competence, employment history, identity at the time the Certificate is presented, or any statement or representation made about the Certificate elsewhere for example, on a resume, social media profile, or by an Institutional Partner beyond what is displayed on the verification page itself.
